What does Papa “J” Say?

One good step of faith toward God is more efficient then a lifetime of deceit and perversion. Do not be deceived, keep your eyes focused on God, let your path follow His Way and you will not Stumble, this is a Promise from God. Proverbs 4:20-27

“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it!” Thomas Paine (The quip “Couch Potato” was not known before 1960).

The nation is looking at double digit unemployment; at marriage as one that is honorable between two men or two women; at the appointment of liberal people in positions that are to uphold the Constitution, our Laws and Statutes. Then we the people have the audacity to say, “Well, It's all the government's fault!” Complacent and Complaining we walk hand it hand down that desperate road of lecherous socialism, we have forgotten our roots. “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” Now it seems that this road has run out. No doubt we have ignored the warning signs, while the established justice and domestic tranquility have all but faded into the dust behind us. Our defense is so obscure with other nationalities within the enlisted and officer ranks it becoming difficult to know if one is serving in the United States Military or NATO! Do you think I don't know the facts. Take a ride to the nearest military compound! But be careful, our posterity is rapidly fading as other nations and other religions gain strongholds in the land of the free. We are becoming like chafe that the wind easily blows away. Psalm 1:1-6.

The Gospel of John

John 11:1-16 Lazarus of Bethany. This is not the same person we find in Luke 16:19-31. This Lazarus had two sisters and the three of them were friends of Jesus. No doubt, it will take two or three days to talk of the this event that involves all of the disciples of Jesus too! Plainly, Lazarus became ill and he died and word was sent to Jesus that his friend died.

The sisters and Lazarus loved Jesus, now this is an important issue. It is important because in the recent past there has been a push in media and film to say that Jesus had a wife and children. Now without becoming totally brutal over these lies of people who actually know the truth but suppress it with statements that assume a horizontal, rather than a vertical position (natural vs supernatural) Romans 1:32. I will simply remind us all of Romans 1:16-17

When God expresses love toward you and me, it is the same love that He expressed to Lazarus, Mary and Martha. This love is shared with all of the people of the world, even those who hate God. So to put things in perspective here, if you hate your neighbor, then you have never experienced this love and you are not a child of God. 1 John 2:11 and 1 John 4:7-11. There is much to with this so we will pick it up again tomorrow.

What does Papa “J” Say?

In the dark, I like a well lit path, don't you? Some use a flashlight, but the beam is directed at one object at a time and stumbling can still occur. So there is a difference between the just, who use the light of God and the wicked who use the light of the world. Proverbs 4:18-19

“Where liberty dwells, there is my country” Benjamin Franklin (this country needs another Ben!)

Lets see if we cannot get this straight! Liberty dwells on the soil of the United States in the country of America. The United States is on the American Continent, our neighbors the Canadians and South Americans have their own liberties and justices on this common land. We do not have things in common, we simply share the same continent with one another. I am not against any land that pursues life with liberty and justice for all of it's citizens. What I am against is the merging of peoples that on the surface of things seem the natural or right thing, but in reality is destroying the way of life, or the principle that Our land represents. The free and the home of the brave as the National Anthem so pointedly displays does not use the word American, nor is the word found in another hymn that has easily found a place in our countries national hall of fame; My Country tis of Thee, also known as; America. So whats the point of all of this. The land is on American soil, the country is in the hearts of the red blooded citizens of the United States who's many sons and daughters gave up their lives so that FREEDOM RINGS from shore to shore. Get on your knees peoples of this land and pray that God may grant a revival of the BRAVE in the homes of the FREE!

Gospel of John

John 10:22-30 Jesus, I hope that you who read these devotional moments are at peace with Him? Yet I know there are those who still wait for Him to show them that He is Christ the LORD. Is it still winter in your heart? And, do you feel the chill of doubt that may cause your bones to shake when you think about eternal things?

Being a child of God is not complicated, the voice of Jesus, the One calling us is trustworthy. The works of Jesus bare proof that He is trustworthy and in your heart of hearts – we know this, but many continue to look for excuses to reject Him. The doubt of not knowing the Creator that the Jews speak of is the Greek word for suspense in verse 24, so the heart always longs for the suspense of eternal truth to be satisfied – Jesus is the only One who satisfies. Psalm 107:9

As a result the one who hears His voice and finds Him Trustworthy, immediately knows His voice as comforting, peaceful, protecting and a host of other trustworthy qualities that cause us to follow Him as a sheep follows their Shepherd. Thus, He can plainly say – I and the Father are ONE! Your response is: Yes, I believe that! Or! No, I do not believe that! If you choose to believe in Him, the scripture cannot be broken. You will eternally be a child of God.
