How are you doing today? Need to take an inventory? What does God have on His mind for you today? Herein is the Answer! Jeremiah 33:3 Only God can answer inaccessible questions.
In the days of the Ballistic Missile Submarine, Polaris and Poseidon the boats were often stationed in ports of allied countries. These countries also had missile submarines of the same kind and it was very interesting to tour these boats when in port. The Brits were the most intriguing in that these man of wars were built by United States manufacturers but had many design features that made the boats uniquely English. Two features come to mind. One: Toilets flushed normally, unlike the American ball valve and lever method. And two: The Control Room could literally be turned into a Ball Room the day before the ship was due to go on a war patrol. The wives and friends of the sailors were invited on board for an evening of dancing, drinking and partying. I guess that is why the toilets flushed like the ones at home. What with the news of women being stationed on submarines by 2012, we may need to do some back-fitting on some of our older subs. Maybe even a makeup station or two, wonder how all that powder will affect the ventilation process. We should ask the Brits... I'm sure they have the problem solved.
Psalm 22
Psalm 22:22-24 The physical suffering of the LORD is over, He has past from physical life and returned to His Father. So when Jesus physically died for the sin of the world, He was raised and seated in Heaven in His Glorified body. His return to His Father is glorious for you and me.1 Corinthians 15:45-49. And when we die, or when we are taken up, we will be like Him. 1 John 3:2.
The LORD's prayerful cry of “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me” is answered as verse 21 concludes. Victory over death is the greatest experience that the soul of man will ever know. Giving way to the sleep of death and waking up in the Father's Courtyard. Words cannot express the praise of the lips. King David in his finest prophecy of the death and resurrection of the LORD comes close as Jesus proclaims to the congregation of witnesses (you and me) His Risen status. April 4, 2010 is Resurrection Day. Don't lay an egg! Raise your voice in PRAISE!
The fear of the LORD brings the mouth to Praise Him. The tribes of Israel have record of praising God in victory, but they also have record of failure. We are no different then they, but all to often we want to believe that we are better. What a pity! Jesus sent us into all the tribes, cities and nations to proclaim what? To proclaim His Resurrection from the dead. This is “good news”. The question is; Are we doing what God has commanded us to do? Or do we hid as it were our face? Only you can answer that question.
