Papa “J” says

Have you made up your mind this morning to follow the direction of Jesus. First, it would be good to ask Him where He is going. Then ask Him to keep you pure along the way. Psalm 119:133

The recent earthquake in Haiti is like many other traumatic events around the world these days. What do I mean. Mass casualties of very large proportions are beginning to be a regular item in the news. Do you think that God has anything to do with it? Maybe it is mother nature or some other cause yet unknown to man. Maybe we should not bother God about these things since He is all loving and would never involve Himself with events that cause mass destruction of people or places. On December 25, 1908 the local newspaper in Messina, Italy published a challenge. Daring God to make Himself known by sending an earthquake. Then on December 28, 1908 when God did not respond. The town authorities passed a number of ordinances reflecting their ungodly character, a few hours later in the day, eighty-four thousand persons died when the earthquake hit the little town. I believe that God responded to the challenge. So on the local scale God is aware. On the worldly scale we can also see that the ungodly practices of the leaders of nations rise up against God and are shaking their fists at Him. Awe shucks Jesse, your mistaken! Genesis 3:14-19 the first earthquake that shook a nation of two!

Psalms

Psalm 2:10-12 How many wise kings on the earth today. I suppose there may be some and a few could make a difference. But overall the nations and their leaders have no fear of God these days. We see the liberal news medias praising the ungodly ways of the world and the majority of the people are out playing, making the golden calf.

Leadership around the world are not instructed in the ways of God. Some are instructed in the ways of the religions of unwise men, women and the antichrist. 1 John 2:22-23. Some countries are not instructed at all and are very secular. All of this is in preparation for the coming Antichrist. He will show up and to believe otherwise is to render yourself deceived.

The nations, including the nation where your feet are planted is in need of a revival. Revivals begin with Spirit filled people and spread throughout the land in a matter of a few short months. Let's submit to the Son of God, or His anger over the nations will continue and the mass casualties will increase. Blessed are those of us who put our trust in Him, and more blessed is the nation who's God is the LORD.
